A new book descends from above! Two of four complete!
But wait, what’s that? Is that…another story with it?
Okay, so I guess I didn’t get enough sleep.
Morning insanity aside, the second edition of Blood Red Ashes is up and ready for your perusal. You can bask in the glory of Shei’s new cover below, or when you please dear lord buy it.
The second story in our supplemental short story series is up right along with it (yay), unlike the short delay the last one had. I want to ask you to make certain that if you’re going to read any of the shorts, make it this one. There’s an important part of Ashes’ character development tucked away in there, something that I couldn’t fit into the main books, but something I couldn’t neglect either. You’ll see when you read it.
I also consider it my best piece of short fiction ever, so there’s that too.
As per our arrangement, Blood Red Ashes will be $0.99 for the first day or so (Amazon willing) so that our fans can pick up the updated version on the cheap. Homecoming will stay $0.99 probably forever, but remember it’s also free (along with other stuffs) for subscribers to our email newsletter or our Patreon. The next two books will be releasing on the 18th and 31st of this month, right on schedule, so you don’t have long to re-read book two before three and four drop. :p
Stay tuned for more announcements soon regarding the brand-new fourth book, or you can sign up to be an ARC reader here and get to read it early.
All that said, I hope you all like the changes and tweaks we’ve made to the series. I think the covers in particular are great. We’ve tried to make the side stories easier to access as well, no matter which way you want to get at them. We’re really working hard to make this a new beginning, and we have a lot more still coming down the pipe.
With no further delay, here are the links to Blood Red Ashes and Homecoming. Please remember to leave a review if you possibly can; reviews and buys directly make us more visible and more appealing to people seeing our books for the first time, so we’ll have a hard time succeeding without your help. You can also harass your real life friends to read us as well, because word of mouth is a big deal too.
I truly hope you enjoy reading these as much as I did writing them (and reading them, and re-writing them, and re-re-writing them, and…).
Happy reading,
-Annathesa
